While more expensive than LiFePo4, Super Capacitors are gaining in popularity in recent years. They reserve a distinct niche in the market due to their ability to store and retrieve energy at an unbeatable speed of 2-4C. Which makes them best suited for fluctuating demand. 

Lithium LiFePo4

LiFePo4 batteries offer the lowest rate per KWh stored and retrieved – estimated around $0.06. This makes them the most economical option for customers with relatively steady energy consumption.
